ADS prepares learner drivers for the UK driving test, working towards a full category B (car) licence. The DVSA estimates the average learner needs around 45 hours of professional tuition before they are test-ready, but some learners progress faster and others need more time. At ADS, we will never push you towards a test before you are genuinely ready — your safety and confidence always come first.

We offer both automatic and manual tuition to suit your preference and goals. If you are unsure which to choose, we are happy to advise. Learning in a manual gives you more flexibility as you will be able to drive both manual and automatic vehicles once qualified. Learning automatic is often quicker and easier for some learners.
